Dr. William E. Adkins

Dr. Adkins attended Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia where he earned his M.D. Degree. He did his internship at Naval National Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland and his Residency at Naval Regional Medical Center in Portsmouth, Va.

Dr. Adkins has a military background and still serves as Captain in the United States Naval Medical Corps Reserve.

Dr. Adkins is on the teaching staff at Portsmouth Naval Hospital as well as Clinical Assistant Professor at Medical College of Virginia

Board Certified with the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Adkins brings years of experience and training to the Ob/Gyn department of Lakeview Medical Center. Dr. Adkins has been with the Lakeview Family since 1985.
