Dr. H. Barakat, M.D.

Dr. Barakat graduated from the American University of Beirut with a BS in Biology. He then attended the Lebanese University –Faculty of Medical Services in Beirut. Dr. Barakat completed his residency and internship at Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He completed his fellowship at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Dr. Barakat was the Intensive Care Unit Co-director at Mount Lebanon Hospital and at Trad Hospital in Beirut, Lebanon.

Dr. Barakat is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He is Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine as well as in Pulmonary Disease.

Dr. Barakat has been with the Lakeview Medical Center family since December, 2003.
