Dr. Serena Barakat, M.D.

Dr. Barakat received her medical degree from the Lebanese University II in Beirut, Lebanon. Dr. Barakat completed her residency and internship at Maryland General Hospital and the University of Virginia.

Dr. Barakat is Board Certified in Family Medicine.

Dr. Barakat is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians as well as the Tri-County Medical Society. Dr.
Barakat was a Clinical Assistant Professor with the Department of Family Medicine at the Louisiana State University from 2001 to 2003.

Dr. Barakat has been with the Lakeview Medical Center family since September, 2003.
