Lakeview Medical Center’s Rheumatology Department treats patients who are experiencing problems related to the muscular, connective tissue, or skeletal systems.  The department mainly treats osteoarthritis, gout, back, and other joint and muscular pain. These conditions include auto-immune disease, such as:

• Systemic Lupus Erythematosis
• Rheumatoid Arthritis
• Scleroderma
• Sarcoidosis

Treatment for Osteoporosis and various types of screening for the disease are also available. The Rheumatologist sees patients at our Suffolk location.
