Dr. Naseer completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Westchester Medical Center, the University Hospital of New York Medical College, Valhalla NY. During the course of his training as a senior resident, he received the award for the most outstanding physician among his peers. He continued to work at New York Medical College for another year as chief medical resident and assistant professor of Medicine. He received several honors and awards for teaching, research, clinical and leadership skills from the New York Medical College and the American College of Physicians. He started his cardiology fellowship at the same institution.
He completed his Cardiology and after that also under went his Interventional Cardiology fellowship training at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania, the premier academic and teaching hospital of University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA.
He has been a contributing author for several well known medical text books and research articles which have been published in renowned peer reviewed medical journals. He is currently involved as an investigator in some major clinical trials. He is also assistant professor at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
Dr. Naseer is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology. His memberships include American College of Physicians, American College of Cardiology, Society of Coronary Angiography and Intervention (SCAI), American Medical Association and American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.
