Rosemary I. Ashman, M.D., Ph.D, F.A.A.P.

Dr. Rosemary Ashman grew up in Virginia Beach. She obtained her bachelor's degree from Duke University and then a PhD in Immunology from the Medical College of Virginia. She earned her medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Ashman has worked for the last 12 years in a General Pediatrics practice in Virginia Beach. Special interests include asthma, inflammatory bowel disease, and ADD.

Dr. Ashman is board certified in Pediatrics, as well as Pediatric and Neonatal Advanced Life Support. She is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the American Medical Association, as well as being a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She and her husband, Richard, have 2 children, Ian and Erin. She enjoys watching her children play soccer, camping, reading, and classical piano.
