William Adkins, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.

Dr. Adkins attended Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia where he earned his M.D. Degree. He did his internship at Naval National Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland and his Residency at Naval Regional Medical Center in Portsmouth, Va.

He has a military background and retired as a Captain fron the United States Naval Medical Corps Reserve in June of 2008.

Dr. Adkins is on the teaching staff at Portsmouth Naval Hospital as well as Clinical Assistant Professor at Medical College of Virginia. He is also certified in Laser Hair Removal, Skin Rejuvenation and Superficial Vein Therapy and offers these services through Remedies Medispa.

Board Certified with the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Adkins brings years of experience and training to the Ob/Gyn department of Lakeview Medical Center. Dr. Adkins has been with the Lakeview Family since 1985.
