Joseph Saveika, III, M.D.

Dr. Saveika originally received a degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech.  After working as an engineer in the Richmond area, he then attended Eastern Virginia Medical School.  He also completed his internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Eastern Virginia Medical School.  In his final year of residency, he served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Saveika holds memberships in the following societies:

• American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
• Association of Academic Physiatrists
• American Medical Association
• Medical Society of Virginia
• Tri-County Medical Society
• Assistant Professor, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Eastern Virginia Medical School

In his spare time, Dr. Saveika enjoys running and Tae Kwon Do.  Dr. Saveika joined the Lakeview Medical Center family August 2007.
