Lakeview Medical Center is pleased to announce the arrival of Baruni Samal, M.D.  Dr. Samal brings a wealth of experience and impressive credentials to Lakeview.  She is a Board Certified, John Hopkins University trained, Pediatrician.  Dr. Samal also holds certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, as well as a Masters Degree in Public Health from John Hopkins.  In her 30 year career, she has worked in 7 states, providing full-range Pediatric expertise ranging from attending c-sections and high risk pregnancies, to providing ongoing outpatient clinical care.  Dr. Samal made a career change approximately 15 years ago, to Locum Tenens.  Locum tenens physicians travel to different clinics and areas of the country and provide temporary coverage.  In this time Dr. Samal estimates she has attended over 1500 C-Sections,  5000 deliveries, and seen over 45,000 pediatric patients in clinical outpatient settings.  Dr. Samal brings many years of experience, a passion, and a genuine concern for her patients well-being.  She is married and has two grown children.
