Dr. Wright completed her undergraduate education at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. She received her Medical Degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland then completed her pediatric residency at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth.
Dr. Wright served with the Marines in Japan and North Carolina before returning to Virginia to work at Portsmouth. After 10 years in the Navy she became a civilian and joined the Lakeview Medical Center team.
Dr. Wright is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a member of the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
